The bit Generations series on Game Boy Advance was created to replicate the simple gameplay of early videogames using simple graphics and sound. The experimental series was largely developed by Skip (Chibi-Robo!, Captain Rainbow) with one game, DigiDrive, developed by Q-Games (Star Fox Command).
The series evolved into "Art Style" and has become Nintendo's primary series of downloadable games for the WiiWare and DSi Ware services.
