Clu Clu Land

In the underwater world of Clu Clu Land, the evil Urchins have stolen and hidden all of the Gold Bars. Bubbles heads out into Clu Clu Land to fight the Urchins and uncover the treasure.

Bubbles automatically moves in one direction and can't be turned directly. Instead, you stick out her right or left arm to grab Turning Posts and start spinning around them. When Bubbles is facing in the direction you want to travel, let go of the post.

Gold is uncovered by passing between two Turning Posts where it is buried. Finding all of the Gold in a stage will uncover a picture or pattern and allow you to move on to the next stage. You have to uncover all of the Gold before the Time counter runs out.

There are several obstacles in your way. Urchins appear from the Black Holes, and if Bubbles hits one then she loses a life. Bubbles can shoot sonic beams to stun the Urchins, making them safe to push into walls.

Items appear randomly on the stage, including fruit that rewards bonus points, clocks that freeze the Urchins temporarily, and White Flags that provide an extra life. Bouncy walls can be uncovered on some stages, making Bubbles bounce in the opposite direction.

In the 2-Player Mode, the second player controls a green Bubbles, and both players can co-operate to clear stages or compete for points.

  • You can choose between Easy Mode and Hard Mode, determining how fast Bubbles travels.
  • Each stage has several new pictures to uncover, as well as all of the puzzles from the first game..
  • If you defeat a certain number of Urchins in a stage then the huge Boss Urchin appears. Destroy it for a high bonus score.
