Devil World

You play as Tamagon, a dragon lost in the mazes of Devil World. Monsters roam the corridors and the walls move on the devil's command. Tamagon must collect the Boa Boa dots and destroy the Monster Machine if he wants to escape.

Due to Devil World's comic use of religious themes, the game was not released in the United States, but was released in Japan and Europe.

Gameplay

Tamagon starts each stage hatching from an egg. You must avoid the moving walls, as becoming trapped between them will make you lose a life. You must also avoid the enemies until you collect one of the religious artifacts which allow you to shoot fire. You can then hit the enemies to turn them into items for bonus points.

  • Stage 1

Collect the Crucifixes that allow you to eat the Boa Boa dots that fuel the Devil's magic. The Crucifixes are only temporary, but can be picked up any number of times. Collect all of the Boa Boa Dots to clear the stage.

  • Stage 2

Collect the four Bibles in the corners of the stage and carry them to the Monster Machine in the centre. Fill all four of the holes in the Monster Machine to clear the stage and make the Devil retreat to the next world.

  • Bonus Stage

A timed stage where you can collect bonus boxes. Run across the arrows on the floor to move the walls. If you get squashed
