Donkey Kong Land
Donkey Kong has gone missing again. Diddy Kong and his girlfriend Dixie Kong set out towards Crocodile Isle to find the lumbering ape.
In the same vein as Donkey Kong Country 2 on the SNES, this game has a running pirate theme, and plays in much the same way. The map screens are 4-colour versions of DKC2's, but the stages themselves are different. Both Diddy and Dixie have their differences (Dixie can still fly), and they come up meet familiar friends, enemies and bosses throughout.

Cranky's Video Game Heroes
As in Donkey Kong Country 2, the number of DK Coins you collect will get you onto the podium at Cranky's Video Game Heroes at the end of the game.
Mario and Yoshi from the Mario series return, but Link and the "No Hopers" bin have been removed. Even if you have no DK Coins, you are places third on the podium.
