If you have a problem, then call on the Cheer Squad. This group of dancing, chanting men will encourage you to charge through your problems and overcome anything that stands in your path.
In order to help people overcome their problems, you have to help the Cheer Squad hit their beat. A song plays, and you have to tap on the icons on the touch screen at the right place and time. As the game progresses, you have to tackle more complex songs with more complex beats.

In the VS scenario "Burn, Joystick! Who is the Emperor of Games!?" Player 1 (as Jet Sugiyama) wears a Famicom colour scheme with a Famicom controller belt and a Starman necklace from the Mario series. Player 2 (as Bikky Tanaka) wears a yellow and green outfit with a Game Boy hanging around his neck.
