Information

A communication game that uses voice recognition technology. To get set up you need to plug the microphone in to the N64 as well as a controller, and then strap the microphone to your controller. You are now ready to talk to, make friends with, and play games with Pikachu.

When you play, you will be given prompts as to what words can be understood by Pikachu. Hold down Z to record your voice, then release Z to send what you said to Pikachu. If he recognises it, he will act accordingly, whereas if he doesn't then he will get confused and you'll have to repeat yourself.

After a few game-days you will probably have made friends with Pikachu. When you do, you will start to play games with him in the field. By sending him instructions you can help him as he tries to babysit a group of Caterpie, attend the Bulbasaur petal festival, go fishing, and more. When you're not playing games, you can just talk to Pikachu to get a reaction out of him.
