Information

The Game Boy Advance version of A Link to the Past introduced a multiplayer Zelda adventure, the Four Swords. This is a full game based on that idea, and up to four players can take part. Link can't take on his latest adventure alone, so he takes hold of the Four Sword, splitting him into four separate heroes.

The game is split into three parts. Hyrule Adventure is a four-player story mode where you must fight through enemies, work together to solve puzzles and save the world from a malevolent force. Shadow Battle is a four-player fight through a variety of enemies and bosses. Finally, the Japan-only Tetra's Trackers has you searching a town for hidden items while Tetra shouts clues at each player.

The main game can be played with GameCube controllers or Game Boy Advance + link cables. The other two modes specifically require the link cable to be played.
