A Pokémon storage utility and game released for download over the WiiWare service. The ranch is a storage area where players of Pokémon: Diamond & Pearl can store up to 1000 Pokémon collected from up to 8 copies of the Nintendo DS games. Players without access to the Nintendo DS games receive six Pokémon and a new one will join them every day.
The ranch is run by a girl named Hayley, who will give players requests to add new Pokémon to the ranch with instructions on where to find them in the DS games.
The player uses their Mii to interact with the Pokémon and take photos of them which can be transferred to friends through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or sent to an SD Card for use on other media.
An update was released on the 5th November 2008 in Japan only to make the game compatible with Pokémon: Platinum Version, and to increase the total number of Pokémon possible to store 1500. The update was never released in other regions.
