Information

A series of Picross games released over the Nintendo Power download service for the Super Famicom in Japan.

The Picross games are picture and math puzzles. Each puzzle starts as a grid of small squares in multiples of five (so 5x5, 10x10, 15x15, etc.), and has a group of numbers assigned to each row and column. Each number represents how many blocks are filled in, and more than one number means there is a space between each block.

There are different ways to play the puzzles - some are timed, and you lose time by making mistakes; some are timed, only your mistakes aren't corrected; and some are just free-reign. There are many puzzles in the game, including a Character Mode based on a Nintendo series.
