Kings of the Mushroom World
In Super Mario Bros. 3, the Kings of the Mushroom World no longer transform into animals, as they did in the original Super Mario Bros. 3. Instead they are transformed into characters and enemies from other Mario games:
- World 1: Cobrat from Super Mario Bros. 2
- World 2: Hoopster from Super Mario Bros. 2
- World 3: Dino Rhino from Super Mario World
- World 4: Donkey Kong Jr.
- World 5: Albatoss from Super Mario Bros. 2
- World 6: Monty Mole from Super Mario World
- World 7: Yoshi from Super Mario World
