In the 22nd Century, a new form of robotics called "telerobotics" has become common. A human user can control a humanoid machine remotely, and the robot mimics the human's movements. Telerobotics is commonly used in situations too dangerous for a human.

The scientist Dr. Edward Maki Jr. wanted to increase interest in the field, and so he developed teleroboxing, where two remotely-controlled machines fight for victory, and it has become a popular sport. Now it is down to the World Championships. You are one of the competitors, along with your state-of-the-art fighting machine, Harry.

You control each of Harry's hands using the two + Pads. Using them, you can punch, block and dodge from one or both sides. Holding the L or R buttons to access Harry's Machine-Gun punches, which cause massive damage to your opponent.

There are seven opponents in the game, each with a unique attack style. You have to work out how to block or counter their attacks in order to expose their weaknesses and damage them. You can only access the final round after clearing all enemies without losing a match.
