Tetrisphere

Robots are trapped at the core of a sphere, covered in blocks. Clear enough blocks to free the robot.

Blocks do not fall randomly, instead you are assigned a time limit that decreases when you are deciding where to place the block. You can drop a block directly on top of another of the same shape to make it vanish, or next to a block of the same shape to cause all similar blocks touching it to disappear as well. If you drop the block anywhere else then you lose one of your three lives, and if the time runs out, you will lose a life and the timer will restart from roughly halfway. Lose all three and the game is over.
